Terri Sharpley Reynolds

Terri Sharpley Reynolds is a skilled and seasoned attorney, strategist, and advisor based in Montgomery,
Alabama. With over 15 years of experience in government affairs and political campaigns, she has cultivated a national network encompassing elected officials and government affairs professionals at all levels.

After graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2008, Terri embarked on a career in politics. In 2009, she joined the Terri Sewell for U.S. Congress campaign as its Political Director. Tasked with forging connections with elected officials and community leaders in Jefferson County and throughout Alabama’s Black Belt, Terri demonstrated her unwavering commitment to making a community impact.

Terri began her career in government in 2010 when she served as the inaugural District Director for Congresswoman Sewell. Following her time in public service, she embarked on her first entrepreneurial venture, providing community outreach consulting to corporate entities, non-profits, local government associations, and political campaigns at various levels.

In 2015, Terri assumed the role of Director of Public Affairs for the Association of County Commissions of
Alabama (ACCA), where she played a pivotal role in developing the Association’s 5-year strategic plan. This plan successfully pushed the Alabama Legislature to invest in the state’s failing infrastructure during the 2019 legislative session. As Legislative Counsel for the ACCA, Terri provided county leaders with legal advice, analyzed and drafted legislation and policy positions, and oversaw the Association’s public policy programs. She also spoke regularly at Auburn University’s Local Government Training Institute, covering various topics from communication strategies to emerging legal issues.

Currently, Terri serves as the Managing Attorney at Levitate Legal & Consulting, LLC, leveraging her expertise to help navigate the complex dynamics of legal compliance, strategic planning, program design, federal grants, and public policy analysis for state associations, local governments, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and HBCUs. Terri has played a pivotal role in launching numerous state and national non-profit organizations and actively contributes her expertise to multiple boards of directors. She is also the co-founder of Levi’s Grace, Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) entity dedicated to supporting mothers who have experienced the loss of a late-term pregnancy or newborn.

In early 2020, Terri returned to her campaign roots, serving as the State Director for Alabama on the Mike
Bloomberg presidential campaign. Most recently, she completed the Diversity and Inclusion certification
program from Cornell University.

Terri is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In her free time, she enjoys embarking on new adventures with her husband Venny and their three children, Xavier (7), Nova (5), and Savannah (1).
